Yeah, definately over due for a blog post, and today seemed like a great
day to get that out of the way. Life’s good, for all intents and purposes. Work
is great, living’s great. Got a new apartment in hollywood, great view, I love it. I’m doing it, dont know how, but im doing it. What I mean by that is, im in a place in my life that I love, but surely didnt picture myself being in if you’d have showed or asked me 5 years ago. But it’s always been amazing, the things that have happened in my life when ive faced challenges. There are still many things in my life I’d love to accomplish, and sometimes those challenges seem too huge. dunno.

It’s crazy how much has changed in my life over the past 5 years or so, clothes, friends, hairstyles, life, tastes, views on life, personalities, etc. there’s been good, there’s been bad, and ive tried to weed out most of the bad, though that’s not always easy to do, especially with friends. I often find myself bending over backwards for my friends, which is great, but I tend to also do it for the people I think are friends and arent. Im usually not one for breaking off friendships, especially in the times when I really should. Every once in a while I have a ‘friend’ who feels they need to put conditions on the friendship, or dont place belief or faith in me, which, if your friends cant do that, why is there even a friendship ya know? Your friends are the ones who stand by you always, who love ya for all your faults, who trust you and have faith in you, give you strength, the ones who know you best, or want to, and dont just assume to, the ones who always encourage you to be your best, and help ya through the hard stuff, etc.

*sigh*

Those are the keepers. Very hard to find, and if you do, hold on for dear life. Ive got a few of those in my life, and am thankful for each and every day I have them in my life, and I think everyone should do the same. (not for my friends mind you, but the friends in your life who are the truest of friends. )

Moving on, life’s been interesting, and fast paced of course. Got hot dogs and soda pop and watched the daytona 500 today, which was, a frustrating race to watch to say the least. lol. I was hoping jeff gordon would do better than he did, but he still raced well today I think. Nascar’s always been one of those few sports ive always enjoyed, and im never sure why. (no it’s not the crashes, those are just the occasional bonus. ) That and golf and baseball, and football more recently, didnt like watching football much as a kid for personal reasons, but it’s been growing back on me now that im not really forced to watch it in the way I was when I was younger. haha. but nascar’s still fun, Ive been a gordon fan since I was about 12 years old or so, He just always seemed like a fun driver with a great attitude and a great sport. He wasnt always the fave though, I remember Dale Earnhardt being my fave when i was a kid, had my dale hotwheels, and my dale #3 RC Car, that thing was awesome. haha. I remember 5 years ago today being glued to my television set as I saw dale hit that wall on the last turn of the 500, shocked and in awe, I still remember watching every detail of it in my head like it was yesterday, seeing him taken from us so quick, I think he still had quite a few years left in him for racing before retirement, it was a shame to see him go. Junior’s kind of grown on me, and I still to this day havent ever cared much for harvick, and when it comes to tony stewart i could go either way, he’s not a fave, and I’d dislike him, if only I could find a reason to. haha. but enough nascar talk.

hope everyone’s having a good 3 day weekend, hopefully I’ll be wise in using the rest of mine, I still have lots of laundry to do, things to unpack and organize, and groceries to go get, which, I think I’ll go do now.
