I should be sleeping, but…

by @ 5:45 am. Filed under Uncategorized

…but, I dont feel like it. But I *should* be. It’s 1:30 and I’ve gotta be up in the morning because I’m working on the Jimmy Kimmel show all this week. That oughta be interesting. Been a while since I last posted (yes I realize I say that a lot), I just havent really had anything exciting or post worthy going on, Nothing going on in life right now, Didnt do anything for halloween, no big plans for thanksgiving, still living with my cousin paul, and…yeah that’s pretty much it. Oh, I went to a couple concerts in the past month or 2, those were fun, got to meet jewel at one, and then see her perform later, the other one was a new found glory concert, where low and behold, I got to meet most all of the members of eisley at, and got to watch the rest of the show right next to em, that was neat. Made my night for sure. I’ve been trying to write more music lately, kinda feel like im close to overcoming a long dose of writers block I’ve had, hopefully I do. The weather’s been nice, cold, but not *too* cold. Good hoodie weather. and I love hoodie weather. haha. There usually isnt much hoodie weather in utah, It’s usually really hot and summer one day, there’s like 5 days of hoodie weather, and *BAM* winter hits. Snow and whatever else everywhere. So as much as the summer weather sucked here, The weather’s really kickin butt now. I usually leave the sliding door wide open at night, let the cool air in, and curl up in the blankets. It’s excellent. My mom called and asked what I wanted for christmas today. I honestly have no clue, and never do really. I dont really need anything. and anytime I do, I just go get it. and when it comes to wanting, I never really want anything, and when I do, it’s just impulse buys at the store anyway, so, yeah. Difficult question. I gave her the same half-serious/half-smart aleck answer I’ve given every year for the past couple years, “peace on earth, good will toward men.” Guess I could say ‘good will toward all’ to be more PC. but, eh, whatever.

If I think of anything perhaps I’ll post a list for those who are interested. I’ve gotta say, one thing I dont miss about my days of yore working at subway, is im glad im not there now. My boss there starts playing the christmas music on like, the first day of november, kinda ruins christmas for me, christmas happens at the end of December, and when the first of december hits and you’ve already been listening to christmas tunes every single day for a month, it kinda gets old quick. Other than that, I really love christmas. There’s prolly a lot of truth to the fact that it’s become very commercial, but, I choose to look at it positively, in that it’s also a time of the year where you tend to see more good-deed-doing than any other part of the year, which is great. So if a small price to pay for that is hallmark and whoever else making some extra cash, eh, so be it. :-)

I’m out of tv shows and movies to watch, ive actually caught up on everything I have, all my movies, every episode to date of all 6 seasons of smallville, al 4 seasons of Ed, All 3 seasons of Entourage, Im caught up on family guy as much as I can be till the next dvd set comes out, I’ve seen most everything I want to see tv wise, so I live week by week hanging on waiting for the newest episodes of heroes and smallville. Watched some good movies lately, Cars was good, along with click, monster house, the omen, & over the hedge. Curious George and Crank were -ok-, and The break-up, well, it sucked. seriously, stay away from this movie. I usually love vince vaughn movies, but…yeah it sucks. It’s like those times where you happen to be somewhere where a couple is fighting badly and in front of people, and ya just kinda feel weird being there and want to leave…The breakup is like sitting in one of those situations for an hour and a half. It’s not funny. It tries to be, and I’ll admit there were maybe a grand total of 30-45 seconds of the movie I spent laughing, if that, but that was pretty much it.

Anyway, im gonna try and sleep now. We’ll see how that goes.
