Yesterday was good times, and one of the funnest days
I’ve had in a while, despite my cold and terrible
allergies that were acting up all day. Started off
the day by heading into Salt Lake, where Kenny took me
out to lunch at the Olive Garden, which was good times,
it was no macaroni grill, but it’s decent italian, and
was free, so I couldnt complain. heh Then, I headed
up north to do some apartment hunting, which was an
interesting experience. Decided to come back downtown
and by the U to look at some apartments, but before doing
that decided to take neil out to dinner since I was in the
neighborhood and him and I hadnt hung out at all since we
got back from vegas. That was good times, then headed down
to slc, looked at some more places, then had a meeting at
work to go to at 8. Wasnt looking forward to it, but had to
go anyway. I was pleasantly surprised though when I showed
up and received a $200 Gift Card to Best Buy because of my
outstanding work at work last month. It was cool to kick
some butt at work and get a gift like that for it. Today
I headed into slc a little early to head to best buy,
where I picked up some new studio headphones, cause my
old ones werent working out to well when I was recording
my guitar tracks and vocal tracks. Also picked up a GPS
unit for my car, which wont be used for some time, but
will be incorporated into a separate project that I’ll
probably mention sometime in a month or so, depending
on how it’s going. So now im just sitting here, rockin
out with the new headphones and thinking I should
probably get some sleep, it would probably help with
this blasted head cold. So, Im off.
