Just kind of a “blah” sunday. Slept in till about
12 or so, got up and did some chores in the backyard,
came in and then just kind of vegged out in my room
for a while. played some guitar, watched some tv,
for dinner I decided I’d go on a fast food buffet,
which I havent done in a while. Those are always
fun, you grab a different part of your meal from
different food places around town. Got a couple
tacos from taco bell, a beef and cheddar from arbys,
and a couple of bottles of bawls from smiths. I also
decided to pick up some of those “crest whitening
strips” from the store. They were $30. yeah. pretty
expensive. but if they work it’ll be sweet, they are
supposed to work all the way in just 7 days, so
hopefully they will. I’ll let you all know the
results. Anyway, I gotta get some sleep, I have to
work tomorrow. hehe.

Well, I had an interesting week to say the least.
Every day this week from monday on, was for the
most part, a pretty good day. I mean, I was still
experienceing the same ol stuff that upsets or
annoys me each week, but for some reason, none of
that could get to me this week, i could always just
think about it and laugh it off, so even though my
weeks was a usual one, it was a happy one at the same
time, It was real bugging me this week, trying to
figure out why I was so happy, nothing had really
changed, the only thing i could think of was that
there has been one thing I’ve been making myself
think of all week before I sleep and when I wake
up, and I think that’s what’s been making me feel
happy and laid back about lifes problems all week.
last night I got my haircut and then went up to
weber state university to hang out with some
friends, we later ate at the pie pizzaria, and
then headed back to weber, hung out and watched
some tv and such, it was good times. Slept in today,
till about 3pm or so, it was good times. hehe. And,
thats about it so far. I also updated the Moblog,
if anyone wants to check it out.

So, Im sitting here at work, figured I’d post an
update. I went to bed last night hoping Id have
another weird dream, to maybe get some more insight
into my weird dreams lately or something, but
instead had a bad dream, I wont even go into it.
I think maybe the bad dream might have been a
blessing of sorts, because I felt pretty good when
I woke up and realized the bad dream never happened.
I then continued to start my monday, getting ready
and then leaving for work and such, and for the
first time I can remember in a long time, I started
to have a happy day, things seemed to be going my
way. I was running early, traffic was going just
right, and I somehow had the right mix of tunes
in my stereo, songs would come on that I didnt
even remember putting on that cd, that would remind
me of some happy and / or funny memories. Got to
work, and noticed Kevin
Rose had made mention
of me on his website for some info I sent him,
which was cool. (has my name listed as “D-ren” which
is a nickname some of my friends gave me.) For those
that dont know who he is, he’s one of the hosts for
the show “the screen savers” on TechTv. He also makes
appearances on some of techtv’s other shows. Anyway,
Then, to top it off, I’d run into little things that
I’d notice that would upset me or annoy me, and for a
split second I’d be annoyed or irritated, but then
just shrug it off and smile about it. I’ve kind of
been doing that all day, im usually not one that does
that, but all of those little things today I keep
shrugging off and smiling about. Hopefully my day
will continue that way, but to the crazy surprising
nature of life, I wont hold my breath. hehe. By the
way, I just wanted to get something off my chest,
it involves some internet etiquette. It concerns
IM (Instant Message) Conversations. For some reason,
some people will have instant message conversations
with people, and feel that it’s appropriate to just
leave the conversation without saying goodbye. It’s
kinda rude. Im not naming names, or even pinning this
on one certain person, and im certainly not the only
one that experiences it. But cmon people, it’s just
like having a conversation with someone in person,
would you just walk way from them and go do something
else without ever saying goodbye? Those of you that
do this know who you are, or if you’re reading this,
you know if you’ve done it before. So let’s all do
the world a favor, and use some manners with your
friends online? even if you dont think they are there,
if you were in a conversation with them, be sure to
at least tell them you have to go and give them a
“goodbye”. If they arent there, they’ll at least be
sure to see it when they get back and appreciate the
thought.
