Yeeup. :)

heh, sorry. there’s been so many times in the past few weeks that I’ve said ‘hey, i should add a blog update.’ and just got lazy or distracted, usually the latter. let’s see, havent updated since new years or so i think, so, hmm let’s see. I went gamblin and chillin for a weekend with chris and jason and a few others, that was good times. um, quit my old job, and now have a new one, working for the man. not just the man, but THE man. that’s right, im officially a fed. not exactly doing the kinda work I’d like, but it’s something and it pays the bills, hell, pays quite a bit more than the last job, so that’s awesome. thing that sucks is, unlike most jobs working for ‘the man’, it doesnt have those same hours, I actually end up working nights. this past week and next week im working 2pm -9pm most days, then a different schedule with worse hours the next week, then some weird ones the week after that. In addition to that I’ve been working on quite a few projects in addition to some studying when I can get the time in, boning up on some tech stuff (php and mysql namely) since it’s been forever since Ive touched some of it, and I dont want to get rusty. when it comes to computers im a networking guy, a security guy, and a hardware guy. those are my passions. but I gotta keep up to date with some sort of programming, and get more db experience, and since most of my projects lately or web-related, php and mysql seemed like the obvious choice. not much else going on, the new job has been jeopardizing most of my time. it’s for the best though, I hope to get some cash saved up, and perhaps switch to lower hours in the fall and start school. ive been saying that for years, who knows what’ll happen. im still not sure what I want to study. im a musician at heart but have always been good with technology. I realized I might be able to have the best of both worlds, and maybe I’ll go into being a studio engineer, working on people’s albums’s and things. I think that’d be cool. as close as I think I’ll get to the music industry, I like to sing, and I love playing music, whether it be on my guitars, keyboard, banjo, harmonica, whatever. but I dont see myself as being star material, it’s just something I have fun with. I put together a myspace artist page separate from my regular profile, I’ll give out the link when I get to add some songs to it and such.

other than that, im not up to much. anyone who wants to, feel free to drop me a line, I love hearing from everyone and knowing what they’re up to.

peace out!

-Chris
